In regulation 8(1)(b) insert after the words "had not" the words ",being
eligible to do so,"

The Local Government Pension Scheme (Scotland) Regulations 1998
A further version needs to be created to incorporate SI 2001/460. This made
some slight amendments to regulation 5.

The Local Government Pension Scheme (Scotland) Regulations 1998 - version
2000/199
Reg 44(6): at the end of the reg add "if the child is in the care of the
surviving spouse (SI2000/199)" and create hyperlink to SI 2000/199.
Schedule 4: in the definition of "the relevant capital benefits" in
paragraph 8(5) amend the words "retained benefits" to "retained rights
(SI2000/199)" with a hyperlink to SI 2000/199.
